| Banko-yaki (Banko ware) has been produced in the Yokkaichi region for over 260 years. Today this area is a leader in the production of earthenware donabe (traditional Japanese cooking pots). There is also a wide variety of kyusu (traditional Japanese style, single-handle tea pots) and flower arrangement vessels presently being manufactured in Yokkaichi. |
